Houston, TX - NASA Administrator Bill Nelson announced today that the agency is accelerating its Mars exploration timeline, with a manned mission now planned for 2028.
The Artemis-Mars program will leverage technology developed for lunar missions.

- Budget: $45 billion

The mission will feature:

"This represents humanity's next giant leap," Nelson stated at the press conference.
